LSU basketball Head Coach Kim Mulkey doesn't give a spit on what you, me, or anyone else thinks about her. In some ways, that is a laudable trait. One should never allow the attitudes and comments of others to move their life needle. However, in her situation as a very public persona, representing an institution of higher learning, her team and her players, Mulkey might have been better served being so public with her complaints about a Washington Post feature story about her before it was even published. It reminds me of something I've always called "Lessons from the Mailbox". (Note: Because The Washington Post article is behind a paywall, it is not linked to here at this time.)
